About Us

Equine Guided Learning (EGL) is the creation of Dr. Elaine Gagné, a successful business woman, organization design consultant and executive coach. EGL is one more way that Elaine uses her unique combination of experience, knowledge, and skills to help people make dramatic, positive changes in their lives.

Coach: Elaine is a Master Certified Coach—the highest professional standard awarded by the International Coach Federation, and is an executive coach for the Center for Creative Leadership.

Award-winning organizational change consultant: Over 20 years of professional success.

Engage Change

Author: Elaine’s latest book is ENGAGE! Roadmap for Workforce-Driven Change in a Warp-Speed World was written to document her award-winning organization development process and to share a wealth of right-now ideas for increasing performance, results, and job satisfaction in today’s complex workplaces.

Elaine brings to her work a refreshing mix of imagination, intuition, and insight blended with original ideas to help groups and teams operate at their peak and drive performance in their daily operations. So it’s no surprise that since 2006, she has combined her skills and knowledge with a life-long passion for horses and learning in her company Equine Guided Learning.

Horsewoman:  Elaine uses state-of-the-art assessments to create a coaching direction for her clients; she then incorporates learning and horses to produce a solid learning experience for her clients.  Elaine says, “I am having the time of my life combining my favorite activities in work that I love.” Running a small ranch that is dedicated to helping people grow is tremendously rewarding and involves the whole family; husband, Don, and grandchildren, Jacob and Maria.

The home of EGL: Elaine and her husband, Don, designed and built their environmentally-friendly home in the Black Forest (a suburb of Colorado Springs, CO.), based on principles of sustainability. They have four sons, three daughters-in-law, seven grandchildren, three horses, two cats, one dog, and an outdoor pond with eleven fish (after the heron’s last visit).
