 Case Studies and Testimonials

Brad Brinkman was our first “guest” client. He flew from Arizona to be with us for 3 nights – 2 days. All of our interactions were geared to serving him in his quest for clarity and focus in his business transactions and in his life.

We shared meals, some of which were prepared by Brad himself, who surprised us with his astoundingly creative and delicious cooking.

Brad and I spent time going over his assessments, goals, and challenges. Then we set out for the round corral and got to work. Brad took walks and sat in the gazebo by the waterfall to reflect on his experiences. Then back to the horses. And at some point, I left Brad with Gideon with the request that he stick with him until Brad was successful at defining and keeping boundaries with Gideon – to keep Gideon at least 3 feet away with nothing less than intention and Brad’s power of presence.

When Brad successfully emerged from that challenge, he had a radiant smile on this face and said, “I will never forget this! I feel the difference.”

Brad

Here is what Brad said several weeks after being with us:

I will never forget the breakthroughs I made with Elaine and her horses! I established boundaries and clarified specific actions I needed to take to re-establish and maintain a better balance in my life. I realized that balance is not possible without being aware of boundaries.

Although I’ve never worked with horses before, working with them anchored a memory within me. I will never forget how receptive the horses were when I was stable, firm, and standing my ground. Yet they quickly ran off when I claimed my space. Gideon needed stronger commands before he got my message – just like some people. I had to ramp up to meet the situation..

I realized that I need to be more assertive with myself and with some people.

In the past, I have gone to seminars, used techniques, and said affirmations to try to make changes; but I usually forget after a while. It is the experience of working with a horse that is not easily forgotten.

I recommend this wonderful experience to anyone looking for a new way to grow and selfreflect. The peaceful and private setting of RoseHill Farm makes it a perfect place to unwind and get clarity on how to work through challenges and life concerns.
